The first example is from Sunderland Vibe and they present Sunderland in a positive light. They put a rainbow, meaning that the city is enjoyable to explore and its a happy place and the print advert includes the famous lighthouse in Seaburn and new constructed bridge called 'Northern Spire Bridge', by including these images can also mean that Sunderland has much more to offer that could attract potential audience to the city. The colour also helps as it could indicate that Sunderland as a city is joyful and positive place and I think the seagulls shown in the print advert helps this print advert even further as it could signify that Sunderland is peaceful. As for the layouts, the logo is perfectly placed on the left side of the poster so the audience can know who the poster is made for and the headline 'Love will get us through' is placed in the middle of the Northern Spire Bridge, the headline could indicate that the audience will fall in love with Sunderland and finally, the social media details are at the top of the poster so the audience can have a look at Sunderland Vibe's social media for more information or activities that the client has to offer.

This particular print advert uses front angle shot of the light house and Northern Spire Bridge, Sunderland Vibe wants to attract the audience by including the light house and the bridge to show Sunderland's famous architecture to first comers to the Norther East. I like the mise-en-scene in this print advert as they show the blue sky, birds, and a rainbow; all of these things could mean that Sunderland is a safe and happy place to visit and I think the rainbow shows more of that than the sky and the birds in my opinion.

This poster is from a holiday organisation called 'Save Your Summer' and one of their preferred destinations for a summer holiday is Gateshead and one of their main attractions is the Angel of the North statute, which is considered one of the most famous sites not just in the North East but the whole of the UK. The print advert as a whole is okay in my opinion, this one doesn't have the same spark as the first example in terms of the layouts like the logo isn't that exciting compared to the previous logo and they only have one link to their website but they don't any other social media links to it. The only thing that stands out from this print advert is the image as this is their main focus, which is trying to get much people to visit the Angel of the North statue.

The low camera shot is entirely focused on the tourist looking up at the statue amazed and also it captures the surrounding of the statute such as the grass, blue sky and trees. The mise-en-scene in this print advert is spot on because of the scenery that the area is has to offer, the clear and blue sky makes the print advert stand out and gives a positive vibe to the location in general and will make potential audience wanting to visit the place, the grass and trees makes the whole experience more lively as the colour green represents life and in return, paints the North East in a positive light.

The third and final example is the Penshaw Monument in Sunderland. Just like Angel of the North statue, it is also one of the most well know sites not just in Sunderland but the whole of UK, as for the print advert I like the the colour work, it paints Sunderland in the positive light that could make potential visitors coming in and visit the Penshaw Monument. As for the social media links and logo, this print advert doesn't have any of these important details that every print should have, so this print advert fails in that aspect and the logo is dull in my opinion, it doesn't have any fancy designs like the Sunderland Vibe logo. Even though this print advert has its flaws, I think it will garner many visitors because of how ancient the site is and where is located as well.

The camera angle for this advert is great, low angle shot captures the whole scenery from the clouds and grass surrounding the Monument so the audience can have chance to look at the scenery without being in Penshaw itself and makes them eager to visit and also gives the Penshaw the importance and protagonist of this advert. As for the mise-en-scene, a hot air balloon can be seen above in the nice blue sky; this could mean that North East presents nice weather conditions that is appealing for every person and overall brings good vibes to the North East, especially the hot air balloon indicating that North East is place of peace and tourism.
