Analysis of Existing Products

Image
Analysis of Existing Products The first example is from Sunderland Vibe and they present Sunderland in a positive light. They put a rainbow, meaning that the city is enjoyable to explore and its a happy place and the print advert includes the famous lighthouse in Seaburn and new constructed bridge called 'Northern Spire Bridge', by including these images can also mean that Sunderland has much more to offer that could attract potential audience to the city. The colour also helps as it could indicate that Sunderland as a city is joyful and positive place and I think the seagulls shown in the print advert helps this print advert even further as it could signify that Sunderland is peaceful. As for the layouts, the logo is perfectly placed on the left side of the poster so the audience can know who the poster is made for and the headline 'Love will get us through' is placed in the middle of the Northern Spire Bridge, the headline could indicate that the audience will fall ...

Location Scouting

Image
Location Scouting 1) Sunderland City Centre:  My first potential location is the Sunderland City Centre. The reason why this location is one of the potential locations is because it is simply one of the most popular and well known places in Sunderland, there is a tone of space to film or using it as background for a print advert. The only problem that I might have with this location is people will probably not appreciate me taking pictures or film without their permission so I will probably have to reconsider of me filming the city centre while some people might not appreciate of me taking a photo of the city centre.   2) Wearmouth Bridge: Another potential candidate to be the background of my print advert is the Wearmouth Bridge because it is probably the most photographed places in Sunderland due to its surroundings, the bridge especially looks really beautiful at night when the lights of lamp posts in both top and bottom of the bridge and nearby apartment makes the bridge m...

Risk Assessment

Image
Risk Assessment is to point out the dangers when doing these group projects or individual project so that students when using college equipment, need to be careful with any tripping hazards so always watch out when you walk in the filming studio. It is really important to know the possible dangers while using any of the college's premises and equipment because you will be prepared and avoiding of  any these dangers when using the required equipment and premises. Risk Assessment is another way for any particular college showing their concern over student's safety and by the students pointing out the possible dangers, the college can be assured that the students will take care of themselves when doing any filming outside or inside of college.

Pitch

Sunderland Culture Pitch Client: Sunderland Culture is a organisation to improve the City of Sunderland and changing people’s perspectives about Sunderland. They are holding a exhibition in the glass centre and it will be called 'Who am I?' The exhibition will also be held in Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens in  Mowbray Park. I've been asked to explore around and develop ideas for my own media work relating to 'Rational Identity' which explores the question 'Who am I?' My Idea: My idea is for creating a print advert for Sunderland Culture. The plan is I'll include the places that Sunderland Culture shows on their website such as, National Glass Centre, Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens and Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art. In the middle, the main title will be 'Visit Sunderland!' in order to attract audience to visit and the Sunderland Culture logo will be in the top of the text. This will appeal to my audience because there will ...

Interpretation of the Brief Client: Sunderland Culture is a organisation to improve the City of Sunderland through culture. They are holding a exhibition in the glass centre and it will be called 'Who am I?' The exhibition will also be held in Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens in Mowbray Park. I've been asked to explore around and develop ideas for my own media work relating to 'Rational Identity' which explores the question 'Who am I?'
